MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Angela Maria Black, 79, entered into rest on Wednesday, Augusta 13, 2008 at her residence after a short illness. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2008 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Wendell Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery where she will be buried with her late husband, Elliott M. Black. Mrs. Black had lived in Augusta since 1972 and worked as a cook at Ryan's Family Steakhouse on Bobby Jones for over 20 years. She never met a stranger. Two of her greatest pleasures in life were playing bingo and watching "her baseball". She will be missed by her loving family and many friends. She is survived by her daughter, Bekey Black, Martinez; son and daughter-in-law, William and Pam Black, Augusta; grandchildren, Bradley Black, Kentucky, Rachel (Will) Strong, Augusta and four sisters and two brothers.
