STOCKHOLM, Sweden --- Annika Sorenstam's 1-under-par 71 left her two shots behind leader Lill Saether, who tied the course record with 64 Saturday in the Scandinavian TPC.

Saether birdied six of her first seven holes and totaled 9-under 135 in the event, shortened to 54 holes after rain on Friday.

Maria Hjorth also shot 64 in a bogey-free round and shared second with Lora Fairclough (66) to trail by one stroke.

NATIONWIDE TOUR: In Wichita, Kan., Scott Piercy was 5-under on his third round and held the lead at the Wichita Open when play was halted with the leaders playing No. 18.

Piercy, who shot 64-62 the first two days, was at 21-under. Hunter Haas, who was 6-under for his round, was three strokes back. Haas opened with a pair of 65s.

U.S. WOMEN'S AMATEUR: In Eugene, Ore., Duke star Amanda Blumenherst and NCAA champion Azahara Munoz advanced to the U.S. Women's Amateur final at Eugene Country Club.

Blumenherst beat 15-year-old Erynne Lee, of Silverdale, Wash., 3 and 2. Munoz, the Arizona State star from Spain, edged compatriot Belen Mozo 4 and 3.

Blumenherst lost last year's 36-hole final 1-up to Maria Uribe at Crooked Stick.
