AIKEN, S.C. - Michael Gotlieb Miller, formerly of Augusta, GA passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on July 28, 2008 in Aiken, S.C. Michael was an incredible woodcarver and jeweler. He graduated from Libby High School in Toledo, Ohio and served four years in the U.S. Army. Michael is preceded in death by his mother and father Robert V. and Barbara A. Miller and wife Audrey Beckett. Michael is survived by his daughter Barbara A. (Roderick) Burwell of Toledo, Ohio and his son Matthew A. Beckett who is currently serving in Iraq; 2 brothers, Patrick and Richard Miller and his sister Robin (Jason) Matthews of Tunnel Hill, Ga. Michael is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 nephews, 1 great nephew, and 1 niece. The family would like to thank Patty Weathers, his significant other, for all of her help.
