AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mattie Williams of Orange Street entered into rest Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Medical College of GA. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Robert Lynch officiating. She was a native of Burke County, Georgia; a Retired Lab Technician at Medical College of GA and a member of McKinnie Branch Baptist Church, Burke Co., Ga. Survivors are two sons, Franklin Williams, Jr., Crawfordville, Ga., and Willie Jordan Williams, Waynesboro, Ga.; two step- daughters, Francine Denise Jenkins, Hephzibah and Connie Williams, Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Robertstene Connie Williams, Waynesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Marshall Jordan and Steve R. Jordan, Waynesboro, Ga.; seven grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
