NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest Monday, August 4th, 2008, Chief Petty Officer Joseph Wayne Reynolds, United States Navy Retired, beloved husband of Debra Reynolds and son of Anna Laverne Johnson McZilkey (Tony) Belvedere, SC and the late Joseph Henry Reynolds. Born in Augusta, GA, he had been an area resident most of his life. A veteran of the Gulf War, Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Navy until his retirement after twenty one years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, target shooting, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Additional family members include sisters, Anne Reynolds, North Augusta, SC, Debbie Burckhalter, (Joe) North Augusta, SC, and Susan McBeath, (Mark) North Augusta, SC; and nephews, Mark Meeks, Steven Sanders, and Patrick Sanders. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8th, 2008, at 10 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Dr. Gary Redding officiating. Interment with full military honors accorded will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Friends may call at the home of Debbie and Joe Burckhalter, 105 Lake Murray Dr., North Augusta, SC (Lakes and Streams).
