Politicians are like the Pharisees who did not understand the purpose of the Sabbath. Jesus had to remind the Pharisees the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Likewise, politicians need to be reminded the government was made for man, not man for the government.
The original script has been flipped. It's no longer people first, government second and corporations third. Now, it's corporations first, government second and the people last. Corporations and government have psychologically and economically enslaved mankind. For this reason, Thomas Jefferson wrote, it is the right and the duty of the people to alter or abolish any government that hinders the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Therefore, it is time for the people to once again declare our Declaration of Independence. Just as Jesus had to remind the Pharisees, we the people need to remind the government and corporations that they exist to benefit mankind, and mankind doesn't exist to benefit government and corporations.

Mr. Palmer...The state of affairs you so aptly describe will remain until the electorate engage in more reasoned voting and assume its oversight role of the day to day operations of government. We are in a soundbite governance culture that is driven by money, which is provided by the corporations.
Mr. P, I was with you as far as the first paragraph, but you lost me after that. Corporations exist to make a profit, which is a good thing. However, if the good or service produced by the corporation is not well received by mankind, the profit will suffer or cease to exist.
that is unless the corporation uses govt to make certain things
mandatory or uses it to exclude competition or gets subsidies
in the billions..........
Hmm. I am not touching this one due to scripture content, but lets not go there ok?
Mr Palmer, corporation are in busness to make money and they do by providing jobs. It is governmernt that has lost it's way in theis country and needs to be completely over hauled with new faces. As for corporate "enslvement", we have the best working conditions in the world. If you don't believe it, visit China, Russia, Africa.
Jack ,the problem is the companies want to make products on Mexican wages and sell the goods at US wages. Global economy is BS. This will kill our US economy and the big businesses over time. Company heads do not care about running things into the ground later. They think about profit today only.
