BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Mr. Arthur Lee Widner, 88, of 2018 Storm Branch Road, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Widner was a native of Beech Island, South Carolina and was a member of the Galilee Baptist. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. Mr. Widner was preceded in death by one (1) daughter, Ms. Mary Widner. He leaves to cherish his memory: five (5) sons, Willie (Valerie) Widner, Leroy (Rose Marie) Widner, Melvin (Shirley) Widner, Paul (Gloria) Widner, and Wayne Widner; four (4) daughters, Mageline Perry, Rosa Bright, Ginelle Battle and Ginette Caldwell; one (1) brother, Lanson (Jessie) Widner; two (2) sisters, Henrietta (John) Williams, and Alberta Hazel; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.
