HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Ms. Sheila Lynn Goode, 42, of Fulcher Rd, entered into rest Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Funeral services will be held from First Baptist Church of Waynesboro this Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11:00 A.M., with Dr. Al Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Ms. Goode was a native of Richmond County and had lived in the area her entire life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro and a member of the Adult Sunday School class. She worked as a massage therapist for Hair Essentials in Evans, GA. She was a follower of Christ, a loving mother, and a devoted friend to many. She was known for her volunteer work with the elderly and had a heart for helping anyone in need. Ms. Goode is survived by her son, Michael Scott Neely and his father, Dennis W. Neely, Augusta; mother and stepfather Wanda and Gary L. Matthews, Murphy, NC; father and stepmother Kenneth L. and Brenda Goode, Aiken; sister and brother in law, Michelle G. and Danny Coleman, Hephzibah, brother Joe McCurry, Clearwater, FL; half-brother, Jeff L. Goode, Aiken, half-sister and brother in law, Thena and Chris Powell, Aiken; stepbrother, Gary D. Matthews, Clearwater, FL, stepsister and brother in law, Tammy and John Zubyk, Tennessee, and many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of people whose lives she has touched for the glory of God! Pallbearers will be Eric Lever, Brad Jones, Daniel Coleman III, Clayton Coleman, John Eric Williams, and Mickey Salazar. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 24, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
