WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Louie Lanier Reddick, Sr., 83, entered into rest Sunday, July 20, 2008, at his home. He was born November 13, 1924 in Sardis, GA to the late William D. and Marie Dinkins Reddick. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II and a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Reddick was a member of The American Legion Post #180, Sardis, GA. He was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Timothy Reddick; four brothers, W. A. "Tad" Reddick, James "Buddy" Reddick, Sidney Reddick, and Clyde Reddick. He is survived by his ex-wife and life-long friend, Lottie Reddick McKinney of Waynesboro, GA; son, Louie Reddick, Jr. of Waynesboro; daughter, Susan Reddick Cales (Gary) of Marshville, NC; sister, Mary Mildred Buxton of Sardis; granddaughter, Jennifer Freeman of Indian Trail, NC; two step- granddaughters, Alexandria Grissom of Hartsville, OH and Kimberly Hasty of Peachland, NC; two great- granddaughters, Kaitlin and Allison Freeman; one step-great-granddaughter, Lynsie Grissom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Rev. Brad Boynton will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Reddick, Hubert Reddick, Henry Cleckley Reddick, Chris Reddick, Craig Reddick, Larry Buxton, Homer Frazier, Mickey Boynton, and Ray Boynton. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the funeral home.
