AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Clifton Floyd, 62, of 182 Aberdeen Drive, entered into rest July 18, 2008 at University Hospital, Augusta. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Mr. Floyd was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Edgefield and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Survivors include his wife, Benella B. Floyd, Aiken; one daughter, Melissa Floyd, Atlanta; one son, Clifton Floyd, Brooklyn, N.Y.; a mother, Vivian G. Floyd, Edgefield, S.C.; mother-in-law, Essie Brown, Montgomery, Ala.; one sister, Sheila Forman, Lithonia, Ga.; one brother, Winston (Francena) Floyd, Anderson, S.C.; and a host of other relatives.
