AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Erika Hamilton, beloved wife of Clarence H. Hamilton, entered into rest at her residence, Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and a member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church, Monday, July 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Roger Stone and Reverend Brandon Fulmer officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Clarence H. Hamilton; daughters, Rita Teter, Bunnie (Hal) Thomason and Heidi (Tony) Galvin; sons, Mark (Rita) Hamilton, John (Vicki) Hamilton and Michael (Joann) Hamilton; sisters, Gerda Stahl and Crystal Rollins; 11 grandchildren, Meagan Hamilton, Nathaniel Hamilton, Melissa Teter, David (Tonja) Teter, Ben Thomason, Wesley (Lyndsey) Thomason, Lynzee Galvin, Jessica Galvin, Jamie Galvin, Kelley Hamilton and Hunter Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Caleb Teter, Marquis Teter and Erika Walton and Amber Thomason. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mann Memorial United Methodist Church, 2705 Milledgeville Rd., Augusta, Ga. 30904.
