AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. James Williams, 89, formerly of Edgefield Highway, entered into rest July 15, 2008 at Amara Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. G.L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Williams, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Shaws Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Cornelia (Harrison) Burt, Bernice W. Parker, Louise (Joe) Pough, Eloise Smith, Martha Upson and Julia Bush; three sons, Albert Williams, Ernest (Gwen) Williams and Marion Williams; sister, Ella Lee Chandler; brother, Albert (Mary) Williams; daughter-in-law, Deborah Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
