AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Geneva Black Washington, of First Street, entered into rest July 18, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Washington, a native of Washington County, was a member of Moses Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Bruce E. Henley, his fiance, Suprina Denson, Augusta, Ga.; a daughter, Carolyn (Heyward, Jr.) Williams, Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Harold (Barbara) Black, Centerhall, Pa.; two sisters, Mary L. Black, Augusta, Ga., and Pearlie Calloway, Atlantic City, N.J.; five grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Wade, Augusta, Ga., and Barbara (Clifford) Utley, Washington, D.C.; and Lottie Black, Augusta, Ga.; a host of other relatives and friends.
