AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Alice Frances "Gi Gi" Johnson, formerly of Picquet Ave., went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2008 at the University Hospital Ms. Johnson was a native of Columbia County, Ga. but made her home in Augusta. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church, where she served on the Ushers Ministry for over 40 years and also a member of the Missionary Ministry. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Thomas Johnson, Michael Beauford; two daughters, Mrs. Louise (Leotis) Scott, Matthews, Ga., Ms. Norma Jean Wells; two devoted granddaughters, Mrs. Shannon Paschal, Tiease Wells; devoted grandsons, Rickey Johnson, Thomas Johnson, II; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will be in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Matthews, Ga.
