AUGUSTA, Ga. - Margaret Cannon Fields died on July 13, 2008. She was a resident of Richmond County for 32 years and retired from the Augusta Chronicle as a newspaper carrier for 25 years. She was an avid bowler, Braves fan, and a hero to her daughter. She worked hard and played hard. She was loved by many and feared by a few!Survived by her husband, Andy Fields of Augusta, a brother, Calton Cannon of Vanceboro, NC, a daughter, Crystal Burrows and a grand-daughter, Crystal Thomas, both of Centreville, VA.A memorial service will be held Friday, July 18 at 1pm at the Cornerstone of Faith Church, 2112 Eastland Dr. Augusta, Ga. 30904 with the Rev. Gerald Caldwell officiating.
