Heritage group has no reply to NAACP

Rising or run away food and fuel prices, homes being foreclosed on, floods, fires, and earthquakes as well as tornadoes and these people are fighting over the Confederate flag flying...NAACP just crawl back into your disgusting racist hole, throw the dirt over your heads and leave all of us alone...Your attempts to blackmail a state as well as continued blackmail of an entire nation is more than any intelligent person should have to take.. I, for one, have been around a long time and have witnessed your antics destroy people as well as their livelihoods because your hatred of the white race...All you have succeeded in creating is a greater gulf between the races...Now you believe that with this Obama character in the picture, who has presented himself as some sort of home grown messiah, your racist rantings will be given more power to harass and create more contention....Your wrong..There are a great many people who are not going to sit still for your disgusting displays of hate and potential outbreaks of violence.... christian, I'll admit that the leaders of the NAACP should do a better job picking their battles, but the only hatred I see is your deep rooted hatred towards the NAACP and anyone who fights for the rights of any other race than yours. Without the NAACP and other black leaders, not necessarily Revs. Jackson or Sharpton, we'd all be your servants. Just so you know Jackson and Sharpton are not the voices of all black people. Christian, you spewed the word 'hate' all throughout your post...I just responded. Why wouldn't I believe what I typed. Except for my perception of you, what I said was fact, not opinion. I hate no one and I too think the hatred of anything or anyone is wrong. I disagree with you, but I don't hate you. I just get tired of having to defend myself and my beliefs just because of people like you...I guess I shouldn't try, b/c I guess 'at your age', you'll never change the way you see black people.

Name-calling is counterproductive, not to mention childish. Adults are supposed to be above such behavior. Mature adults, that is. I, for one, would like to know what the NAACP does besides protest archaic flag displays over state-owned buildings, because the news media never seems to pay any attention to the organization other than to report things like this. So what exactly does the NAACP do, anyway? Because I will never find out just from reading the paper. Can anyone tell me?

All this flap and exchange of negativism about a flag and what it once symbolically stood for. (No, not to preserve slavery). Why does the NAACP not go after all the carefully preserved and beautifully maintained plantations and have them destroyed? Same for the antebellum homes all throughout the south and so many other reminders of the mid 1800's? Should all the cotton fields be burned? The NAACP has far outlived its usefulness, any form of discrimination is against the law and, if discovered, taken up with the proper authorities. Today the NAACP serves only as a divisive organization.
