HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Elmore Williams, Sr., of Circle Drive entered into rest on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Historic First Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Jackson and Rev. Moses Anderson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mr. Williams, a native of Augusta, was a member of First Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was retired from Thermal Ceramics after forty two years of service and was a member of the Spinners Motorcycle Club. Survivors are his wife, Estelle Williams; one daughter, Daisy Lewis, Texas; four sons, Bennie Williams, Dwayne R. Williams, Hephzibah, Elmore Williams, Jr., Curtis A. Williams, Augusta; three sisters, Dorothy (Forest Ramsey) Williams, Lula Horton, Hephzibah, Kathleen Coleman, Augusta; one brother, George (Mary) Williams, Eugene Green, Hephzibah, Sammie Williams, Augusta, Eugene; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Maurishka Williams; nieces, nephews; two godchildren, Danice Swife, Ashley Griffin; and other relatives.
