Gary Perry: Groove co-owner said he will sign an agreement this morning to play the team's home games at Christenberry Fieldhouse.

"It's exactly what we wanted," Groove co-owner Gary Perry said. "It worked out perfect for us."

Perry said he'd discuss details of the agreement at a 10 a.m. news conference at Christenberry Fieldhouse.

The professional men's basketball team, the first in Augusta since 1995, will share the university's facilities with the men's and women's basketball teams.

The Groove, a member of the Premier Basketball League, are slated to begin their season in January. Their 20-game schedule will run through March. Any postseason games would be played in April.
