- MCG Health System raised more than 4,084 pounds of food and $3,928 for Golden Harvest Food Bank during its third annual food and funds drive in June. The Senior Leadership team was the overall champion this year, collecting the most food and donations.

Golden Harvest Food Bank is a charitable organization that began in February 1982 to serve the Central Savannah River Area. It operates three distribution sites: Augusta, Aiken and Pickens, S.C., serving 30 counties in Georgia and South Carolina.
