Open Team Bass Tournament

Aug. 9-10, Wildwood Park

Hours are safe light until 2 p.m. on Aug. 9; safe light until 1 p.m. on Aug. 10. Entry fee is $150 per team and includes a $10 big fish pot fee. Big fish prize to be awarded only on Aug. 9. Only the top 10 finishers will compete in the Aug. 10 round, with five places to be paid. Saturday's weights will not be carried over to Sunday, with each team starting equal. Tournament hours are 6-11 p.m. The event runs through Aug. 23. Five-fish limit. Entry fee is $22 per boat (with $2 going to the year-end Classic on Aug. 30). Classic hours are 5 p.m. to midnight. Entry fee is $55 and includes the big fish pot. To qualify for the Classic, you must fish a minimum of two Saturday night tournaments or pay $45 plus the Classic entry fee for a total of $100. Schedule: Sunday, bass tournament. Aug. 10, bass tournament. Note: Any Fort Gordon lake is open for fishing.

Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per nonmember, with an optional $5 big fish pot and a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event's start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required.
