EDGEHILL, Ga. - Mr. John L. Cooler, 63, the son of the late William R. Cooler and Mozelle F. Cooler, entered into rest Sunday, July 6, 2008. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Gibson Baptist Church, with Rev. Adrian Burrell officiating. Burial will follow at Wrens Memorial Garden Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at James Funeral Home, Wrens, GA. Mr. Cooler was a native of Chatham County. Mr. Cooler was a member of Gibson Baptist Church. Gibson, GA and was a retired truck driver for Caroline Steel Company. Mr. Cooler was in the U.S. Army, where he served in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his daughters, Dawn (John) Toney, Roxanna (Charles) Reese and Tammy Williams; six grandchildren; and a longtime friend, "Haynes". Mr. Cooler was preceded in death by his first grandson, Richard Ellis. Pallbearers will be J. T. Toney, Alvey Lamb, David Vail and Sheriff Dean Couch. James Funeral Home- Wrens, GA.
