THOMSON, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday July 4, 2008, Mrs. Merle Melissa McCully, 69, beloved wife of Walter Edward McCully. Mrs. McCully was a night auditor for Wingate Inn and a member of the Old Union Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Family members in addition to her husband include daughter: Nancy Dill Snellings of Grovetown; sons and daughter-in-laws: Warren Michael and Susan Luckey of Lakeland, FL, Wade Mitchell and Fay Dill of Thomson, Walter Edward McCully Jr. of Thomson; nine grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; brothers: Johnny Luckey, Wayne Luckey; sisters: Hazel Luckey Laube, Nell Luckey Ashley and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held Today July 7, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son.
