AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Walter "Dump" Davis entered into rest on Saturday, June 28, 2008,at Trinity Hospital of Augusta. Walter was a 1962 graduate of Lucy Laney High School and a faithful member of Ebenezer Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where he served faithfully until his health failed. Those left to cherish his loving memories are; daughter, Sabrina Davis, step-daughter, Vadine Chandler; Charles Davis, Leonard Stern, Marvin (Pricilla) Davis; sisters, Joyce Davis, Patricia McGruder; adopted brothers, Clinton (Nancy) Jones, Willie (Geraldine) Law, Sr.; adopted sister, Gale Hamilton; three uncles; three aunts, godmother; special friend, Gwendolyn Chandler; nieces, nephews; great nephews, great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Ebenezer Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1699 Olive Road, with Elder Clinton Jones, eulogist. Interment, Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens.
