NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Thomas Wayne Watson, age 50 of Nashville, TN entered into rest on June 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father: Elton Watson of Dublin, GA. He is survived by his mother: Nell Watson of Nashville, TN, sister: Sharon (Fred) Best, niece: Jessica Purvis & 2 great nephews; Gregory Powell Jr. & Brant Purvis all of Augusta, GA. He was a Star Student for Laurens Co. He graduated Cum Laude Mercer Univ. in Macon- received his law degree from Vanderbilt Univ. He was in private practice for several years before serving as Asst. Federal Public Defender for the state of TN, retired 2004. All memorials should be donated to the American Cancer Society. There are no Memorial Services planned at this time.
