WRENS, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Jones Whitfield who departed this life Sunday, June 29, 2008 will be held Thursday, July 3rd at Flat Rock Baptist Church and Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Leo Whitfield of Wrens; daughter, Monica Haynes of Fayetteville, N.C.; her mother, Mary Lue Jones of Keysville; siblings, Fannie (Richard) Berry, Rev. Dr. Willie (Christine) Jones, Ricky Calvin (Patricia) Jones, of Wrens, GA, Thomas (Ann) Jones of Matthews, Leonard (Helen) Jones of Savannah, John Judson Jones of N.C., Bobby (Marcella) Jones, Statesboro; sisters-in-law, uncle; host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held at Freeman Funeral Home, Wrens on Wed from 12-8:00 and Thurs 9-1:00 Davis Funeral Home, Louisville, in charge.
