Enough is enough -- drill for oil now
Letter to the Editor
Wednesday, July 02, 2008

I saw Barack Obama a few days ago, on television, and he is just as much a Froot Loop as the rest of those radical environmental groups that he claims to represent.

He said gasoline is not too high; it just went up too fast. Gasoline will be more than $7 per gallon within two years. Obama said he doesn't want oil at any price, and he doesn't want nuclear at all, nor does he want coal, but there is no other timely solution, no matter what the radical environmentalists may tell you.

The only other choice is to drill and drill now. If it takes 15 years, then Obama and his radical friends are 15 years too late. This is a desperate situation perpetrated by the Sierra Club and other radical environmental groups. I was a member of the Sierra Club. Barack Obama and the other liberals are the enforcers for these radical environmental groups, and the result is unimaginable grief for the American people.

These people cannot and will not help you. Only you can help you. Drill here, drill now and forget the Sierra Club.

Milton Gresham, Evans
