ATLANTA --- Shane Victorino hit a home run and drove in four runs and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 8-3 on Tuesday night.
Pat Burrell (right) also homered for the Phillies, who improved to 6-1 against the Braves this season, including 4-0 in Atlanta.
The Phillies took three wins in a row in Atlanta on June 6-8 but then lost six consecutive series, including four against American League teams.
The Phillies, only 4-11 in interleague play, are 41-28 against National League teams.
Braves get two starters back from injuries
ATLANTA --- Two familiar names returned to the Braves' lineup, including one surprise.
Mark Kotsay came off the disabled list to start in center field for the Braves in Tuesday night's game of against Philadelphia.
The surprise was Kotsay was joined in the lineup by third baseman Chipper Jones, who had missed eight consecutive starts with a strained right quadriceps and expected to be placed on the disabled list.
The Braves optioned outfielder Brandon Jones to Triple-A Richmond to clear a spot for Kotsay.
