Keep Paul Broun in congressional seat

A visit to his website reveals that Broun worries more about homosexual marriage, forcing his religion down the people's throat, but little is said about ending the invasion of Iraq. Mr. Broun does not have his priorities straight. No Republican in office should be re-elected who has not held this administration accountable for this invasion and the trampling of the Constitution.

If he will stop calling my house every day I would vote for him.

Broun is a partner in Broun Brothers Investment Group, LLC...a foreign corporation registered in Florida. The Phoenix Investment Group is part of this operation. Working out of the same office in Athens is First South Communities, another LLC. James Daws, LandSouth partner, a huge developer and political operative/contributor runs all of them. He runs Broun, too. Someone ask Broun tonight at the meeting what his relationship is with James Daws. Remember Broun's past bankruptcies and flaky financial dealings? They continue.

Good grief what is wrong with stating good Christian ethics in a nation that has done a 360 when it comes to living life within the moral confines of what is taught in the Bible....What is supposed to be the new age way is in fact the route that has led this nation into the Guinness Book of World Records as perhaps the leading country in a total lack of right and wrong, the failing of the family unit to the rearing of a generation of children who have been desensitized to the horrors around them...They live by the code of "whatever feels good I am going to do it no matter whom it harms"...If this Broun is for something decent then why not try to get him into office...All it takes is one voice of reason to bring us back from the edge....

The only seat Broun needs to stay on is the toilet seat. Perhaps if Broun were to take less an interest in the sale of Penthouse and Playboy on base, he and other members of congress could concentrate on matters of more importance.

I suspect that if it were just Penthouse and Playboy, he would not have a problem with the magazines available at the PX. Besides, it isn't the magazines anyway, it is enforcement of the law that stands with which he and others have a problem. Regardless, Congressman Paul Broun is the very example of what citizens clamour for and talk about when they are describing their desire for idealism in government. I'll be there this evening, and I will vote for him in the primary.

Hey, Grouse, it sounds like you need to pick up a Democratic ballot on July 15. Broun's name will not be on that ballot. That will make you feel better.

Paul Broun is an egregious moron. Like his buddy, featherweight Saxby Chambliss, he cares not one whit for the substantative issues of our day but rather uses red meat issue to rile up dummies like chirstian134, PT and other idiots to get their vote, stay in power and bilk the system. It is amazing how these dolts continue to fall for this. At least give another Republican a chance to redeeem the party. Vote Barry Fleming in the GOP primary!

I do know that Paul Broun is concerned about Veterans that he is comming to address the Vietnam Vets at the closing ceremoney. Something that our governer and others are to busy to do. At least he can take the time to show his respect for our Vets not crap on them like a lot of un named other want to do. If it was up to the left we would have no military and all the money that we spend on supporting the military would be spent on the dissadvantaged minorities who don't want to work. If you cann't support this country and the morals it was founded on then you have the freedom and right to leave. I for one am tired of the vocal libiral minority who demands that every one be politicaly correct and forced thier beliefs down our throat thru liberal judges who legislate from the bench.

Ah, you can certainly tell the Columbia County political machine is churning out some anti-Broun rhetoric this morning! They want their own boy in that office and they think the easiest and fastest way to go about it is to throw mud and to blow smoke, enough of which they hope will make voters pause to wonder if Broun is really as good as his past performance has shown. I think he is and the man has my vote. And, no, I have absolutely no affliation with Broun.

Why is it that when the "right" is in control, they are always so enthusiastic about inviting the "left" to leave, yet when then the "left" is in control, they feel no pressure to leave themselves? If your #1 issues is waving flags for old veterans while cutting their medical benefits, vote Paul Broun. If you think the military cannot be trusted with porn vote Paul Broun. If you believe they gay marriage is as big a threat to American as terrorism or globalism, vote Paul Broun. Then drink this Kool -Aid.

Mike Gravel also runs on policy and idealism and for that matter, Hilary Clinton's plans were fairly detailed. She made the mistake, of course, the Kerry made - he assumed people would read the details, even if they were really a series of boring complicated long-range projections that actually included elements from most political viewpoints. The only person in my recollection who actually used the political process to educate people was Ross Perot (speaking of a few bricks short). No one liked that. Ignorance, as they say, is bliss.

Grouse, if Bush and his admin has "trampled" the Constitution, exactly which freedoms have YOU lost? I haven't lost a single one that I know of, and I am quite cognizant of my rights/freedoms. If anyone should get ousted, it is the do nothng DIMocRAT Congress that, like Osama, promised much and has delivered little or nothing-high gas prices, mortgage debacle, and done nothing to bring the troops home (I hope they are smarter than that) and leves them there until the job is done.

Well each his or her own grouse...I will stand up for this country and those that serve her no matter what and when I can help change things that need changing then I will by all means try...If you will try and see that for more years than I can remember the middle east has disliked the United States...They may have tried to behave like they have liked us at sometime or other but underneath it all they really do despise us all....

A simple google search will tell you that James Daws is Karen Broun's (the Congressman's sister in law) brother. No big sordid connection there. As far as the bankruptcy goes, he has been more than forthcoming about that and will also tell you that he even repaid all of those debts (not something most people do after filing bankruptcy do) when he got back on his feet plus the fact that it was over 20 years ago. The bad votes that Barry Fleming is using to campaign against Broun are all liberal SPENDING bills something a "true" conservative as he calls himself should also be against. So I ask you is that the man you want handling our money? I did not vote for Broun the last time but eagerly do so July 15th.

All I had to do was listen to what Barry Fleming had to say on talk radio in an interview to know that I would choose Broun over him. He shot himself in the foot with his own words.
