AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Joseph Oscar McDonald, 90, husband of Mrs. Helen Joesy McDonald, entered into rest Monday, June 16, 2008 at MCG. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Mr. Moses Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Everett Taylor, Craig Peoples, Eddie Peoples, Joe Dixon, Mark Stevens and Richard Marcano. Other survivors include his sisters, Lizze Mae Dixon of Sandersville and Bernice Tanner of Wrightsville and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. McDonald was born in Gibson, GA to the late Joseph and Beaulah Lamb McDonald. He retired from Kress Wharehouse and was a WWII US Army veteran.
