HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Rodney Alan Swift, 57, entered into rest Monday, June 16, 2008, at the VA Medical Center, Augusta, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Harlem United Methodist Church with the Reverend Roger Vest officiating. Interment will be in Harlem Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Swift was born in Richmond County to the late Thomas W. and Mildred Swift and was a lifetime resident of Harlem. He was an Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a Corrections Officer and a member of Harlem United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Travis R. Swift, of Harlem; and several nieces and nephews.
