AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Francis 'Berk' Berkley Mundie, 74, husband of the late Frieda Mundie, entered into rest Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Doctors Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, Ga., with the Dr. Dean Watson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Mr. Mundie was born in Helmet, Virginia to the late Boyd and Anna Mundie and was an Army Veteran. Survivors include two step- daughters, Melissa Price and Rebecca York, both of Thomson; three sisters, Margaret Chilton, Josephine Williams, and Joyce Mundie; one brother, Warren Mundie; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Emily Mundie and brother Melvin Mundie.
