RIDGE SPRING, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. McKinley Chavous Jr, age 53 who passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center will be held 2 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at St. Mark Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Chavous Family Cemetery, Graymare Hollow Rd, Aiken, SC. He leaves to cherish his memory: Brenda Miller, Ridge Spring, SC; seven children; 2 grandchildren; his parents, McKinley Sr. and Mattie Mae Chavous, Aiken, SC; other relatives. Mr. Chavous will lie in state at the church from 1 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday. Friends may call at the residence of his parents, 1435 Park Avenue SE, Aiken, SC or at Jackson- Brooks Funeral Home Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 4 pm until 7 pm.
