Ruby Fife, a remedial math instructor at Georgia Military College, was presented the 2008 Jean Harris Award by the Martinez-Evans Rotary Club for her contributions to young African-American women through her employer and her church, where she is a youth volunteer and counselor. She was presented the award by club President-Elect Ricardo Bravo.
