BELVEDERE, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Donald Wayne "Don" Wilson, Sr., 71, of Lehigh Ave, Belvedere, SC who entered into rest June 13, 2008 will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Central Church of Christ. Ministers Donnie Hilliard, Ted Rush and Bob Lyons officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Wilson was a native of Marion, NC, a former resident of Augusta, having made Belvedere his home for the past 50 years. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ where he served as a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Song Leader. Mr. Wilson was a faithful and devoted Christian. He was the co-owner of Midway Barber Shop on Central Ave for 23 years, and a retired car salesman with Master Pontiac with over 30 years of service. Survivors include his wife Bobbie Carroll Wilson; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Wayne Wilson, Jr., Huron, OH, David Alan Wilson, Belvedere, and Kevin Dwayne and Susan Wilson, Sr., Belvedere; two sisters, Frances Harris, Marion, NC and Barbara Walker, Detroit MI; eight grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Adam Wilson, Andrea Lewis, Alex Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Jr., Megan Wilson, Tyler Wilson and Christopher Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Caleb Cheshire, Mya Lewis and Brianna Lewis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Rea, Sonny Applewhite, Larry Smith, Bill Long, Oscar Barney, L. A. Curd and Pete Whitt. Active Pallbearers will be Adam Wilson, Alex Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Jr., Todd Gay, Jon Denning, George Sleister, Nelson Sayford and Sonny Gay.
