Bottom line
Augusta Chronicle Editorial Staff
Sunday, June 15, 2008

What would you do for your father today for Fathers Day, if you could do anything?

Take him on a cruise?

Cook ribs for him?

Get all the wait-staff to sing to him?

Shine his dress shoes?

Buy him his favorite music?

Get him a better tie than last year?

Give him that back rub he never asks for, but you know he'd love?

Take him fishing like he used to take you?

Arrange for him to throw out the first pitch at a ballgame?

Try to find the words to thank him?

There are so many things you could do for him today.

If only he were here.

Those of you who still can do these things -- do them. For those of us who can't.
