MILLEN, Ga. - Mr. Rebun Lee Amerson, age 92, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. He was born in Emanuel County, a retired carpenter, veteran of World War II, and member of the West Millen Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at the West Millen Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Millen Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Y. Amerson of Millen; a daughter, Pam Amerson; three sons, Durand (Buddy) Amerson, William (Billy) Amerson, and Rebun L. Amerson, Jr. all of Millen; and eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
