MANASAS, Va. - Entered into rest Friday, June 6, 2008, Mrs. Jacquline R. Gallop-Brayboy, beloved wife of Herbert "Tony" Brayboy, II. Mrs. Brayboy was affectionately called "Jackie"; she was the daughter of the late Beatrice Waltower-Gallop and the step-daughter of the late Katie M. Gallop. She was a 1978 graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School and a 1983 graduate of Paine College. Jackie was employed with the Virginia Public School System, where she taught 4th grade. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Christ Chapel, Woodbridge, Virginia. Interment will be in Quantico National Cemetery. Survivors are a loving husband, Herbert "Tony" Brayboy, II; two sons, Damien E. and Alexander D. Brayboy; father, Wilbert L. (Clara) Gallop, Sr.; a loving and devoted mother and father-in-law, Herbert (Ervie) Brayboy, Sr.; four brothers, Butch (Tracie) Gallop, Carlton (Tonya) Gallop, Bruce Gallop (his companion, Tabitha) and Jeffery (Rolonda) Gallop; three sisters, Gloria M. Gallop, Janice Henderson and Lynn Little; a devoted god-sister, Tiajuana Dent; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
