AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bobbie Fell Abernathy, 77, widow of the late Robert E. Abernathy, was called home on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. A private burial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Abernathy was a resident of Augusta. After retirement from Southern Bell, she worked fifteen years at Augusta Tech and served as a volunteer Pink Lady at Trinity Hospital. Mrs. Abernathy was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose unique memories will continue to bring smiles to her loved ones. Survivors include two daughters: Linda Abernathy of Augusta and Amy Abernathy of Augusta; one grandson, Matthew Riddle of Augusta; and two sisters, Jeanna Morris of Jackson, SC and Billie Corbin of Beech Island, SC. Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & son Funeral Directors on Davis Rd.
