EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mr. Joe Carroll Miller, 75, of Rainsford Rd., husband of Mary Austin Miller, died June 9, 2008 at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday June 12, 2008 at Republican Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Miller was born in Edgefield County and was a member of Republican Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Leo (Rachel) Miller, Mike (Etta) Miller, both of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Diane (Jim) Webb, Savannah, Carolyn (Ron) Conley, Edgefield; one step-son, Bobby (Kim) Turner, Monroe, N.C.; one step-daughter, Pattie Turner, Charlotte; one brother, Tom Miller, Edgefield; four grandchildren, Leslie Winn (Matt) Sturkie, Joseph and Andrew Miller, Jesse Webb; two step-granddaughters, Lauren Turner, Amy (Mickey) Scruggs; one step-grandson, Jason Conley; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Bailey Sturkie; two step-great-grandsons- Peyton and Parker Scruggs.
