AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth Jones Wright, 79, of Jewel Drive, entered into rest June 9, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Gregory Fuller officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. Mrs. Wright, a native of Asheville, N.C., was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, George (Dora) Jones, Augusta; two stepsons, Cornelius Wright, Jr. and Phillip (Mildred) Wright, Boston, Mass.; a devoted niece, Dorothy Washington Perkins, Augusta; a nephew, Walter B. Jones, Baltimore, Md.; devoted friends, Lillie Scott, Gertrude Hicks, Ella Bass, Augusta and Rev. James R. (Camilla) Hooper, Edgefield, S.C.; two grandchildren, Derric Jones, Griffin, Ga. and LaTrelle Kelly, East Point, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Derric Jones, II and LaErica Grier; four great-nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
