GOT GOALS?: Registration is open through June 23 for Teens in Action With Goals, an organization for those 10-18 years old who are interested in singing, acting, stepping, dancing or sports. Summer events include trips, a step competition, a pool party and a back-to-school ball. Call (706) 284-8252 or (706) 796-6819.

SHUTTERBUGS: Entries will be accepted through June 20 for a teen photography contest held by the East Central Georgia Regional Library system. You must be a rising sixth- to 12th-grade pupil. To apply, take up to three 5-by-7-inch photos to any library branch.

MUSIC TO YOUR EARS: Sector 7G, an all-ages club at 631 Ellis St., will have a show featuring Chairleg, Shotgun Opera, Nine Day Descent, Enable Kain and Moultrie Killer. Tickets cost $8.

SELF-DEFENSE CLASS: The headquarters library, 902 Greene St., will hold a self-defense class, led by third-degree black belt Johnny Hughes, of CSRA Defensive Arts. The class starts at 2 p.m.
