NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Rev. Talmadge D. Belding Jr., 64, of Timberidge Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest June 9, 2008, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from Grace United Methodist Church. Dr. James C. Adams, Dr. John M. Newell and Rev. J. Wayne Smith, Jr. officiating. Private Family interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Belding was a lifelong resident of North Augusta and son of the late Talmadge D. Belding, Sr.. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a United Methodist Minister, having served the Vaucluse-Pentecost Charge for six years of which he was named Pastor Emeritus. Rev. Belding was a graduate of Wofford College, Erskine Theological Seminary and was retired from the E.I. DuPont Company and Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site with thirty-five years of service. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Griggs Bedling; a son & daughter-in-law, Sam and Carla Belding, Mooresville, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Chris Adcox, Martinez; his mother, Bonnie Belding, North Augusta; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Robert and Ann Belding, Columbia, SC; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Bob Ledbetter, Advance, NC; three grandchildren, Davis Belding, Ben Belding and Dallas Adcox. Pallbearers will be Bill Denny, Wayne Spence, Donnie Burden, Rusty Flanders, Joe Britt and John Bigger. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Narthex. The family will be at the residence.
