LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Lois B. Elam, age 80, of Lincolnton, Ga., passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Trinity Hospital in Augusta, Ga. Her funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Mulberry CME Church with Rev. Larry Fryer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight at Mulberry CME Church from 7 to 8. Her survivors are nine children, Larry Elam, Morris Elam, Ricky Elam all of Lexington, N.C., Johnny Elam, III of Decatur, Ga., Obia Elam, Tracy Elam both of Augusta, Ga., Levurn Elam of Lithonia, Ga., Margaret Ellis of Columbia, S.C., Jennifer Walker of Lincolnton, Ga., and Almar Crtie of Stone Mountain, Ga.; three sisters, Mary Wyatt of Decatur, Ga., Emma Bennett of Lexington, N.C., and Dorothy Crite of Stone Mountain, Ga.; twenty-two grandchildren and fifteen great- grandchildren.
