AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, June 7, 2008 at University Hospital, Mrs. Josephine Mae Newcomb, 77, wife of Herbert J. Newcomb. Mrs. Newcomb was a native of Lebanon, PA and has lived in Augusta since 1965. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Family members in addition to her husband include her son and daughter-in-law: Michael H. and Kimberly Newcomb of Waco, TX; daughter: Michelle R. Newcomb of NC and grandchildren: Stephanie Newcomb, Jennifer Stewart and husband, Preston, Nicholas Taramangos and Alexandria Taramangos. Graveside services will be held today, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Pastor David Hunter officiating.
