APPLING, Ga. - Mrs. Toshiko Waid, 75, beloved wife of Mr. James Waid, of Washington Road, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at her residence. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, June 2, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Trigg officiating. Mrs. Waid was a native of Tokyo, Japan, but had lived in Columbia County for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Martinez Church of Christ.
