COLUMBIA --- Attorneys for a South Carolina teen accused of plotting to blow up his high school have asked a federal judge to require prosecutors to share information they might use against him, including his prior criminal record, according to court documents filed Thursday.
Defense attorney Michael Meetze wrote that he needs any statements Ryan Schallenberger, 18, made to authorities after he was accused of threatening to blow up Chesterfield High School. The defense also wants information on witnesses who might testify at trial and the results of mental evaluations.
