Mr. Northern Lee Long, 51, of 3325 Silver Bluff Rd., Aiken, SC, departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2008, at his residence. The Funeral Service in Loving Remembrance of someone who truly loved life will be held 1p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the Park Missionary Baptist Church, Beech Island, SC, with Rev. Anthony Wilson, Officiating. The Interment with Military Honors will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Long, a native of Aiken, SC, was a member of the Park Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a Medical Specialist while serving in the U.S. Army, before he was Honorably discharged in 1985. He will be truly missed by his humbled survivors: his parents, Rev. Albert and Laura Bush Long, Aiken, SC; his brother, Rev. Dr. Lorenzo Long (April), Columbia, Md.; his sister, Bernice Long DeLoach (Tyrone), Aiken, SC; his nephews, his niece, his great nephew, several aunts and uncles, and a host of other very loving and compassionate relatives and grateful friends in the surrounding communities that will always remember him in eternal love. The Family will be receiving friends at the residence of his parents, Rev. Albert and Laura B. Long, 1630 Graymare Hollow Rd., Aiken, SC. The viewing will be held on today from 5 until 8PM at the funeral home and Saturday from 11AM until the hour of service at the church.
