- Army Pfc. Ceshera L. Powell , a 2007 graduate of Glenn Hills High School and daughter of Frederick Powell, of Hephzibah, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.
- Navy Seaman Recruit Michael C. Ramble , a 2006 graduate of Cross Creek High School and son of Pamela M. and Terry Ramble, of Hephzibah, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
