NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Tillman T. "Smitty" Smith, 90, of Martintown Road, entered into rest Monday, May 26, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. in the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Davenport officiating. Interment will be in New Silver Brook Cemetery, Anderson, SC, at 3:00 P.M. Mr. Smith was born in Anderson, SC, a former resident of Charleston, having made North Augusta his home since 1952. He had been employed by the E. I. DuPont Company from 1952 to 1962 and was the owner of Smitty's Garage and Wrecker Service in North Augusta for 40 years. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Mintz, Oviedo, FL; three grandchildren, Jimmy King, Michael and Debra King, Wayne and Carol King; eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mike Sumerel, Darrell Shinall, Larry Baynham, Jimmy King, Mike King and Wayne King.
