Saxon will do right by our veterans

I have met Mr. Saxon, who is a retired Army officer and veteran of the war in Iraq. He is very committed to supporting our troops and our veterans. The new GI bill will do just that, and it was reprehensible for Congressman Broun to vote against. Many volunteer for service knowing that it is the only way they will be able to afford to obtain a degree and become a better educated and better paid member of society. It's an investment in America's future, certainly much better spent than giving our hard earned tax dollars to Halliburton and Blackwater. I agree with the letter writer--it's time for change in the Congress.

Every tax and spend bill DIMs have ever passed was, according to them, for the "chilrun" (mispelled on pupose). I would put my vote on a former military officer with combat experience before some Athens nobody that can't even be found with google.
